The Case Against the Alexander Brothers: Everything We Know

Oren, Alon and Tal Alexander were powerful and prosperous brothers who seemed to be at the top of the world before June 2024. Oren and Tal were two of the country’s best luxury real estate brokers. Their brother Alon was a framework for the security company of their family. All three were beautiful lights on the festive scenes in Manhattan and Miami. Then the news announced that they had been accused by two women of rape and sexual assault. Another trial followed. And the valves opened.
Now they are all seated in prison in Brooklyn awaiting trials, having been charged by the federal government and arrested for organizing a sex trafficking program for more than a decade. The brothers would have formed a model of seduction of women, to drug them and attack them, according to prosecutors who claim to have spoken to at least 60 women who say they are victims of one or more brothers. At least 17 women have now brought prosecution alleging the same behavior model.
A trial has been scheduled for January, but in the meantime, the authorities have continued to publish new information – and the brothers continue to defend themselves. Here is everything we know about the case against the Alexanders.
Oren, Tal and Alon Alexander were born and grew up in the exclusive Enclave of Bal Harbor, in Florida, north of Miami Beach. Tal, the older brother, was born in 1986; Oren and Alon, the twins, were born less than a year later. Their parents, Orly and Shlomy, are Israeli immigrants who have built a successful domestic security company. Shlomy has finally become a luxury real estate developer. After university, around 2008, the brothers settled in New York, where Oren and Tal became real estate agents and Alon created a branch of the family security company.
Oren and Tal began their career at Douglas Elliman, where CEO Howard Lorber would have taken them under his wing. During last year, the Alexanders were accused by dozens of women of sexual assault and rape. The first allegations were made in March 2024 by two women, Kate Whiteman and Rebecca Mandel, who accused Oren and Alon of rape in proceedings brought in New York, in incidents that would have taken place in 2012 and 2010, respectively.
