Smart home technology gives you more control over your energy use, while optimizing things like security, access, temperature control, lighting, and more. Many of our communities have advanced smart home features such as smart thermostats, SkyBell video doorbells, USB charging stations, chat rooms, controlled access parking and electric vehicle charging stations.
Smart Thermostat
Southern California’s climate is quite temperate, but when cold spells, heat waves, and rainfall occur, it’s extremely convenient to have a smart thermostat to adapt to different climates. With a smart thermostat, you can adjust temperatures from the thermostat itself or from your mobile device. If you’re in the office and you know it’ll be a little cooler when you get home, you can turn up the thermostat a few degrees to make sure your space is cozy and comfortable when you get home. You’ll also be able to adjust the temperature so that while you’re away from home, you’re not wasting valuable energy heating or cooling an empty apartment and, in turn, you save money! With much of the workforce currently working from home or remotely, having a space to work outside of the home office can help with productivity and focus. When we are at home, we have the possibility of being distracted: distracted by the laundry, the dishes, the postmen, the delivery people, etc. Having access to a co-working space fully equipped with computers and printers allows people who work remotely to have connectivity, comfort, and a distraction-free space.
